Eileen Sheehan is an Award-Winning author of steamy romance thrillers for the mature adult. A professional and full-time spiritual advisor and holistic practitioner for over 30 years, the majority of her 60+ novels feature the paranormal, but some are novels about people in love and a very few are self-help. As the years progressed, so has her writing style. Although she still includes romance and strives for a happily ever after ending, her stories tend to have more mystery, thrills, and a touch of horror in them.
A former busy working mother (who is now a laid-back grandmother), Eileen understands the value of time. She makes it a point to write novels that are able to be enjoyed in one or two evenings.
Eileen started out as a freelance writer for periodical magazines and newspapers. From there, she tried her hand at writing screenplays. Her screenplay, "When East Meets West" was a finalist in the 2001 Independent International Film and Video Festival at Madison Square Gardens, NYC. Finally finding her niche, she lets her imagination loose with paranormal romance/thrillers with the author name of Eileen Sheehan.
In order to keep confusion out of the genre mix, she has chosen to write in several pen names. She creates her paranormal thrillers with her birth name of
Eileen Sheehan but writes steamy historical and contemporary romances with the author name of Ailene Frances. Alternative drama was written by Eileen as E. F. Sheehan and has a few self-help books under the pen name of Lena Sheehan.
